Full-Day Camps
Allegro Music Camp Ages 4 - 7
Vivace Music Camp Ages 7- 11

These full day music camps offer students the ultimate music experience by combining music training with age appropriate workshops and craft activities. Previous experience is not necessary to join either camp, however, children with a background in music will also benefit from the camps as the performance repertoire will be tailored to each student's ability. Activities will include segments on music instruction, music appreciation, workshops with visiting musicians, and crafts - all leading to a final performance at the end of the week, available for friends and family. Performances will be held at the *Hult Center and **Cozmic Pizza at 4:00pm on the last day of each camp. Parents or guardians will provide transportaion to the nearby locations for the final performance.
Each day the group will also take walking field trips (weather permitting) to picnic and have some free time. Locations include the Washington Jefferson Park, Skinner Butte Park, and the Hult Center. During our final day, the group will take a trip to the nearby Cafe Du Hall to reward their efforts with a scoop of ice-cream or sherbert (included in materials cost).

Half-Day Camps
Jr. Music Camp ages 4-7
Junior Music Camp provides an activity-oriented musical experience for ages 4-6 years. Camps meet two hours daily for one week. Each day a different theme is explored through music, craft, and dance activities.Focus themes include Teddy Bears, Dinosaurs, Carnival of Animals, Peter and the Wolf, and The Nutcracker.
No previous music experience is necessary to join this camp!

World Music Camp
World Music Camp provides an activity-oriented musical experience for ages 7-11 years. Camps meet two and a half hours daily for one week. Each day a different theme is explored through music, craft, and dance activities. Countries include Mexico, China, North America,Africa and India. No previous music experience is necessary to join this camp!

Meet the Composer: "Papa Haydn" ages 6-11, with 1-3 years of piano experience
This exciting camp gives the young music student an opportunity to explore and experience the life and times of a major composer in music history. Campers explore the composer’s life and music through singing, creative activities, keyboard solo and ensemble playing, rhythm
ensembles, recorder ensembles, musical games/projects, and composing. Students present a
mini concert during the last day of camp, at the Academy.
Campers should have a level one competency in music reading and some basic keyboard skills. Class size is limited, so please register early to reserve your child's spot in the Haydn camp.

Camp Details
Camps are one week long and size is limited (8-15 students/9 students max for Composer Camp). Half-day camps will be from 9:30am - 11:30am, for the Jr. Music Camp and 12:00pm - 3:00pm, for the World Music Camp. Full-day camps will be from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Early registration is recommended for ease of planning. Camps are intended for children only, though parents may stay and observe if they wish.
Payment
Cancellation Policy
If a cancellation is made in writing at least 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the start of the program then 100% of program fees will be refunded, minus the non-refundable deposit. If a cancellation is made within one week (7 days) prior to the first day of camp, 50% of program fees will be refunded, minus the non-refundable deposit. No refunds will be made after camps have begun
Media Release
The Eugene Piano Academy's focus is on the group learning process and to better educate families on how this process can be beneficial we depend greatly on photographs and video to show parents how our facility is run. By registering for the summer camps you irrevocably grant the Academy the absolute right and permission to photograph and/or videotape your child for art, advertising, or any other lawful purposes. This includes visits from news media and using photos on our website.The Eugene Piano Academy will not release any personal information regarding your child other than their first name and age. All photographs and video recordings will become the property of the Eugene Piano Academy, not to be sold or loaned, and will be used only to promote the Eugene Piano Academy and its education programs.
If you do not want your child to be photographed, please attach a note with your registration form and we will ensure that your child will not take part in any media events.
Parent Responsibilities
Parents and guardians are solely responsible informing the Academy of all parties that will be picking up and dropping off each student. At time of registration please indicate up to four persons that will be picking up and dropping off your student each day. There will be a sign-in sheet near the door for guardians to check in and out.
Parents and/or guardians will be responsible the cost of repair or replacement for any damaged instruments caused by them or their children.
